You might be able to go to your friendly CNH dealer and ask to borrow the seal puller; it pulls the seal in from the bottom. Find the oldest guy and ask him. No? I made up my own seal puller, of a few sizes of sockets, some all-thread, duct tape, washers, and whatever. You center the seal in theh ole, and pull straight up, with the U-side up so it fills up with grease. The seal has to center in the hole, and pull straight up. I did three; destroyed the first, bent the second, and bingo on the third. For grease I blended up a mix of red wheel bearing grease and 90W in a coffee can, with a coat hanger in my drill.
