True story. Thought about running to the bathroom first, but don't think that would be 20 lbs worth! Yes, me losing 20 lbs would solve the issue, but wouldn't hurt to do 30 lbs just to be safe! LOL.
The next show this week doesn't do 500 lb increments, so, I have the choice of 4500 or 5500, and there ain't no way I am gonna shed 400 lbs of iron off the old girl. Heisler road gear and pulley MIGHT weigh 100lbs total, and it ain't worth it to slide the engine forward to remove the road gear (which I dont' want to do anyway). So, I am thinking about adding the F&H weights to get a bit more traction.
Like I said, I am a rookie, and plan to stay that way, as pulling is fun to me, an NOT a competition. I would be lying though, if I said I wouldn't like to get the old girl into luggin' mode, and give the younger tractors a real run for the money.
something about a 70+ year old tractor making the younger ones "sweat", makes me smile
