They recomend putting wt on the lift arms then get a reading when the levers are worked. No reason you cant use the guage to read pressure when lifting should read 1000 or so under pressure. You didnt say where the aux res is not familiar with the I-H loader just other brands mounted on SC and C both used the block. Does the loader frame act as a res as some loaders do use the frame for a res. Some have an aux res pipe mounted on the filler neck some I-H loaders did use one ther for aux res.
