Reversed Rims/tires???

After finishing blading yesterday I was sitting there looking at the Cub's tires (could be any tractor's). The treads go in one direction >>>>>

I wondered, when the rims/tires are reversed <<<<< for wider rows, etc., is there a noted difference in "bite"?
