I have been looking for a while at getting a smaller tractor to do some haying with, mostly raking, running around with a square baler, and sitting on an elevator. May use it on the mower if it would be able to pull the 9 ft disk mower. The question is, would I be better off with a diesel 504 or a gas 574, and why? I am considering each, the 504 has 6500 hour and they want $3,000 for it. The 574 has a loader (may take that off), 5,050 hours and they want $4,500 for it. Thanks for any info.
