Dave: I am no expert, just read this site often and own a Farmall A. From what others say, the A's offset is well within the limits of the U-joints on a PTO shaft. It is not ideal, but should work adequately. Cat 0, I, II, III are standards for three point hitches. A Super A should use a Cat I hitch. Cat 0 is usually on lawn tractors. Cat II and III are very large and are reserved for large tractors. Most of the stuff you buy at CT Farm and Country etc are Cat I. Some people have said in the past that you should allow 1 inch rototiller width per each horsepower of your tractor. Given a Super A has about 19 ponies, your rototiller would need to be pretty narrow. You might be able to use a 3 ft rototiller. Another common problem is that rototilling works best at a very slow speed - slower than most farm tractors can go unless they have a creeper speed. Again this is what others have said - I have no personal experience. I assume you have a Super A if you have factory hydraulics. Most people suggest a Saginaw brand three pt hitch is better than a Work Saver. I hope more knowledgeable people respond to your questions. Douglas Stockman Penfield, NY

If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
