3pt on '41 A again

I've got another question on the 3 pt hitch use on a Farmall A. Does the fact that the A PTO is not on the centerline of the tractor affect how or what kind of implements can be attached? I'm thinking of putting a rotary-tiller on there. Also, I see ads for implements saying "for Category I hitches" or Cat II, or III. What do these categories mean?
I've got some work to do yet: I'm going to try to convert to a 3 pt system, but I won't bother if what I have when I'm done won't do the job. Thanks for your help.
