IF his SM has a live pump... isn't it only the Stage 2 that has the live pump? If he has the belly pump, he will lose steering when he pushes in the clutch. Does this tractor have a separate pump for the loader? I have often thought of moving the priority valve on mine to the loader pump, as it's bigger than needed anyway, so a couple priority gallons split off for the PS isn't going to hurt. I'll never take the loader off the tractor and if it's never taken off this SM, that's another option.
