Hi, I've see bent push rods on those engine in case of engine overspeed or if the engine is stopped for long time, the valve that are open are stuck and when you re-start the engine the push rod bent or broke. For the pto, it have a bushing in the center of the pto shaft, where the dog engagement. You have to remove the shaft to change the bushing. Bernard in Quebec Canada
