I appears that with the hitch I have that they tried to offset the lift arms with a bend and brace type arrangement, but as soon as I hooked a 5 foot brush hog and lifted it a couple times these practically straightened out to the point they do little good clearing the pedals. I like the idea of the slot to float...I may eventually try to fabricate new arms which will float rather than cut up the ones I have. Guess I should have broke the bank on the saginaw, but I sure liked the $380 price for these. Guess you get what you pay for!
