Is this square plug below the clutch linkage rod, the fill level indicator for the rear end 80/90w oil? Its been a few years since I change the fluid and wanted to make sure. I loosened the plug last night and fluid started coming out. What happens if this is overfilled? Does it come out of the axle barring?
I read that you fill the engine oil to the upper petcock. Last night my oil was just barely above the lower petcock. That a dangerous level? I notice a few drips in the garage and yard, I know it has a drip leak. Any problems putting a quart above the upper petcock?
