my 49 w9 has a fuel pump on it . the block has also been changed and i havnt picked up the old block yet .i dont know if it was on it originaly or was on the new block when my uncle changed it . it looks original and i cant imagine that my uncles would have plumbed it in if it wasnt on the old block much easier to change the cover. i think that the w9 engine was the same one as used in the bulldozers of the time and they just left the fuel pump on.
