The Utility tractors are what you are looking for. They are quite different from the Farmall 350, having a wide front end, lower stance, different seat and steeering and a slightly higher engine speed. They will also generally have an underslung exhaust. The 300 Utility and 350 Utility are pretty much the same tractor, so if you can't find a 350U, the 300U will probably suit your needs. In addition to being heavier and more powerful, these tractors will generally have independent PTO, which the 8N doesn't have. Things to watch out for include power steering, which you will really appreciate, but check it out, because the P/S unit is prone to wear and expensive to replace or repair. Also, the torque amplifier is a nice touch, and if you find a working one you will like it, but if it doesn't work, the tractor will still work fine without it, you just don't have that downshift-on-the-go capability. Around here a 300U or 350U will be about 3/4 the price of a Ford 8N.
