With a Lucas system and Lucas light switch it is beyond our direct input. The attached diagrams might help some, but liberal interpretation is needed on the switch and Lucas system. The 46 vintage would have the system described in the diagram previously supplied, (no regulator) To go to US original, you will need: A light switch (4 position -LHDB- Low charge High Charge, Dim lights, Bright lights. A cutout relay for the generator, and the generator. Probably a belt and brackets for the gen as well. If you want US all the way you might aldo need light fixtures.
