I have my dad's 300 that he bought new in '56. The TA[low range] slips in even 1st gear. When slipping it makes a zinning noise[sprag clutch]? I realise there a fair amount of work involved to change the TA unit but what all is needed, where is the best place to get replacement parts and what would be the ballpark price range for parts?Direct range is fine and since the tractor has only transmission driven PTO, the TA can be used for live PTO operation, kinda like a hand clutch. Some time ago transmission oil has started to leak out of under the steering box so that should be addressed anyway. Tractor gets limited use a year probably 50 to 70 hours but it's handy to use with the Fast Hitch drawbar and all. Any thoughts? Thanks....Ron
