roosa master timing problems

I have a 560d that I've been working on for quite some time. The tractor has been rebuilt and I'm having problems timing the roosa master injector pump. I have the engine timed to 3 degrees before top dead center,but when I look through the timing window on the pump,the mark has been worn off. I was told how to time the pump by putting air in #1 port on the injector pump and pushing out the plungers,but I've forgotten what to do and lost the link.Is there anyone that can help me or give me a link to go to? All input is appreciated,ARKIE.
