Are you describing my F20 or yours? ha ha. Mine has a similar sloppy clutch pedal that veers left, can't go right because luckily it hits the frame. Just a cotter pin and a washer. Sheered it off once, lucky was trying to put in gear and not taking it out! That was a 10 cent breakdown. My thoughts are to weld another rail on the left side of the clutch pedal, so its caged in on either side to remove all side slop.
