Hello. Taking the gear off PTO that drives the belt pulley. I want to take the gear off another PTO that I have for parts and put that gear on my PTO so that I can drive my belt pulley. I took the cover off and took off the spacer. I put 3 jawed gear puller and it just keep slipping off. Can I put the unit in a press and press the gear out from the shaft at the top? Has a bearing below this gear. will it press out also? Don't want to BREAK any casting, gears or parts. Please let me know what you guys think and how to get this apart. THANKS
