Had a sleeved Farmall engine which leaked coolant into the engine oil. Removed oil pan while coolant was at normal level but no leak was apparent. Removed radiator and blocked lower radiator hose connection on block. Fabbed adapter on upper radiator hose connection to engine head to accept garden hose fitting. Filled block with water so that all air could escape. Then connected garden hose (pressure approx. 30 psi). Leak showed up at one sleeve bottom. After pulling sleeve it appeared to be badly corroded at the O-ring. I did not run the engine during this test but it may even leak ONLY at running temperature.
