Pull the shift lever and align the slots in shift rails and carefully lower the lever back in place. Be careful when you pull the lever as there are poppet springs and detent balls under the lever housing. They may stay in place if you are careful, just don"t let them come up out of their holes. the bottom of the lever/finger is worn. Some guys weld it up and grind it back to size. I just try to be careful shifting! Mark
