Thanks for lots of good suggestions. Next to the idle jet is a port that I believe is called the "main air bleed" from looking at the books. How big a hole should be in the carb base for the bleed? I noticed mine looked like someone had put some brass or something in the hole and there is only a small hole through it. Hope this makes sense. In the upper part there is a larger port. Am using C87 plugs. Are these comarable to the Champions you mentioned? Napa said they were the hottest at least in AC. Thanks for the help
