I'll go out on a limb too: Get a compression tester and make sure you have proper compression in each cylinder. Could be something in the valve adjustment or camshaft timing isn't right. Remember to run all you need is:
Proper Fuel/air mixture
Compression
Timed spark Don't assume any of the three is there until you have verified it for sure.
