Im wondering if anybody knows if the 1086 is a better tractor than the 1586. We had a 1586 and had nothing but problems with the trans/final drive, and there was no comfortable working gear. it was either too fast or too slow. Ive been thinking of purchasing a 1086 because they had a different transmission, but is the 1086 better built far as rear end?
