Your engine is from a power unit with the dipstick ect. They made a lot of changes in heads size of the hole where sparkplug goes deeper for sparkplugs size of the combustion chamber but the big item is the size dome on your new pistons some have different domes that engine was made from 39 till like 51 when waterpumps ect were added. I like to go with cast codes i have a bunch of heads and putting them side by side you can see the small changes that were made even got some distillate pistons if someone would want.
