The row-crops were Farmalls, the standard-tread and utility tractors were Internationals. Originally, all had McCormick-Deering somewhere on them as well. Eventually, McD was dropped from the name (the 460, 560, etc?). Then, in the late sixties, the standard-tread disappeared as a distinct style, while the narrow front lost favor on the row-crops. Tractors with wide fronts and wheel adjustments were sold both in row-crop territory and in wheatland (standard tread) territory. Also, implements were now mostly drawn or mounted on the rear hitch (either 2 pt or 3 pt), not directly on the tractor like in the original Farmall concept. After the 06 series (706, 806, etc.), the Farmall name was reduced in importance, and was finally phased out for the 66 series (966, 1066, etc.) in the early seventies.
