since evevryone is always so helpful. My 98 Chevy(yea I know Im starting something with the Ford/Chevy guys)has a problem with the battery cables corroding.I am haveing to nurse them through right now until i get more time, and it warms up a bit,to change them. What I thought about doing is getting a 1 or 0 gauge cable for the starter and using a statndard cable for the other positve cable and using a 1 or 0 gauge for the ground.I have found the side post cables in that size but I cannot stack them like they are now.I was thinking of getting one of these batteries that have both the side and top post batteries and putting one of the pos. battery cables on each post.Anybody ever done that? The reason I want to go with the bigger cable is I start and stop the truck all day and thought the heavier cable will help,or at least wont hurt.
