Yep ya can put the 17 gallon pump in them no problem , but the problem come in the fact that the Hyd. filter is only made to handle 14 gallon per min. But like Allen said your hitch problem is the draft sensing linkage . To fix remove the top link plate and get a trouble light and look over on the right side you will see and arm hanging down from the top and a arm -lever coming up from the bottom . The one on top is suppose to be behind the one coming up from the bottom . Do Not start turning any screws nuts or bolts , find - make a hook tool to pull the one on top back and around the bottom one . Things in there can be SHARP and the top arm is under heaavy spring pressure , holding the draft control handle back will help and relieve some of the tension. sometimes due to ware the top arm will not stay put and i have had to tack a washer to the bottom arm on the side closest to the rear end housing so if will not slip past .
