As soon as the rain stops I'm going back to the farm. The first thing I plan to do is pull the shifter and check the rails. The shifter seems to work just right but I'm going to check it anyway. If the rails are lined up, I'm going jack up one wheel and rock it back and forth. If that doesn't work I'm pulling the belt pulley attachment off to see if something came apart. I'm not familiar with the hyd. pumps on an H but that will be next. I want to try every possibility before pulling the top cover. But the shifter feels like it working just right in all gears. I hope it is as simple as a little welding. Thanks for your input, most folks here think your probably right.
