What is your tractor doing? I had a 1066 that felt like it went too far and popped out of gear. I had trouble keeping it in reverse. I looked in an inspection plate on the side behind the clutch pedal under my feed if I remember right and there was a washer on a shaft that was gone. An quick fix but had to split the tractor to get to it.
