Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this aftermarket road gear. The only mark that I can find is a 300 stamped into the base of the bronze shift tower. It is a two to one overdrive. Purchased with the intent of placing on my '39 f20 but after a couple of test drives I don't think that I will. With the fast fourth the tractor moves along at least 10 mph with the 13.6 x 38 rear tires. I am thinking it will be more useful on the '37 f20 with 28 inch rears. Am I thinking correct that this road gear was designed for operator to place tranny in neutral and then engage this gear? Any guesses as to how fast the '37 will go with this gear installed?
