I got this one solved! I had of course checked with the local CaseIH dealer before trying anywhere else, was told that getting it fixed there was out of the question. I got a tip from a neighbor this afternoon, and called another dealer a few miles farther up the road. They are more than happy to rebuild both the pump and the torque unit, and according to them parts are available through CaseIH, no need to scour the NOS market. Apparently the close dealer just didn't want to mess with it. Next time I have a big parts order, maybe I'll bring this to their attention, see what kind of an answer they can cook up!
