Here is a photo of a fast hitch filler plate. Thought I would post this as once in a while someone asks about same. My Farmall 340 Parts Catalog shows it as part number 523 387 R11 and the drawing is on a straight piece of metal. The catalog lists both 2" and 2 1/4" roll pins for use with the plate to hold it in the socket.
As an example, the steel insert enables the use of small-point implements from a Farmall 200 on a Farmall 340; a tractor with large sockets.
The plate is made from 1/2" steel and measures 13 3/8" long; 1 1/8" wide. The cross of the 'T' is 3/4" long X 2" wide. Two 1/4" diameter holes are drilled through the steel. Centered 2 1/4" from the end (width-wise with awl extending through in photo) is on the edge and the second hole is centered 10 1/2" from the same end, on the face.
I 'tink' I found mine lying in the area below the seat assembly on one of the Farmall 340's.
