Lights on a H Farmall

Hello all I had my H out to night to plow the drive way out had the lights on ( still 6 volt ) Lights come right on a few min. later all went dark got done with the plowing backed into the barn and the volt gage was showing a little higher charge like it was chargeing but no lights could have the fuse went bad? I dont know where to start it has new light blubs but the light switch also controls the genny H/L charge it "seams" to be working ok but no lights never had trouble with the lights not working just like some one shut them off
