Andy - with regard to the 2pt hitch, you will have a hard time finding very many 2 point hitch impliments for your tractor. Conversion kits for 2pt to 3pt hitches are available, for about $300 from worksaver.com - they sell through dealers. The conversion is pretty well documented on their website. I have one and it works OK, but not as versatile as a GOOD 3pt hitch. The other option is to get a GOOD 3pt hitch unit with it's own hydraulic cylinder(s). There is a company out of Saginaw Michigan that has a pretty good reputation for good 3pt hitches. Someone else will have to supply their address. Good luck! Keep us informed - lots of experience to be tapped on this site. My 16 yr old son is restoring a 1949 JD B, right now. We're thrilled to have the younger guys working on these oldies!
