I can't find what you're talking about in the parts book. There is no 2" plug or anything that looks like a 2" plug shown.
Does it look like a "freeze plug" out of an engine block? If so, you hammer a small chisel through it and pry it out. Put the new one in exactly the same as the old. The new one should have a lip that sets the depth.
