I used to have a farmall 560 gas. It had a lot of icing problems in cold weather. Seems to be a common problem of 6 cyl. gas engines. The throat between the carb and the manifold always ices up. I fixed the heat riser and kept the engine covered with tin, this helped a little. Better yet, get rid of the gas tractor and buy yourself a good diesel tractor. Put a 1500 watt tank heater on it, and plug it in. The diesel tractor, once started will run just as good at 20 below or 20 above.
