i think your billet option is alot better than finding good 4.25s. first, billet, alot lighter weight, better material. old 4.25s, very heavy. thats my opinion on that part. Id leave that block alone, n find a M block to bore out. i dont think a SM-450 blocks bore, will be correct to run on the block. mite be a bit loose. i also think it be easier to find used aries 4.31 bore from dcs n use a 264 block vs cutting up a 281.
