Picked up a Farmall 450 block C-281 its got sleeves and they measure 4.25" inside bore and 4.375 outside. I"m guessing its going to need custom piston"s to make it work. And I have know idea where to find replacement sleeves without paying $170 per sleeve plus the cost of the pistons. Kinda thinking it needs custom pistons anyways so why not just make filler rings and run a hone down the bore of the block to clean it up and put some cross hatches in it and running rite on the block. No sleeves. What would you all do?
