Hi all,
I've got two questions about the fuel system on my H. My carburetor (50981-DA) is in bad need of a rebuild as it leaks horribly when the valve on the sediment bowl is opened...
Has anyone used the Basic Carburetor Repair Kit from Tractor Supply (SKU 0236813)? I don't think the carb has been serviced in ages, so maybe the full kit would be best? I'm not close to a CaseIH dealership, so online ordering is best. What is a good recommended vendor? How about YT's kit?
Last question, regarding the Rubber hose from the air intake to the carburetor, is this just standard rubber hose that you can buy at any parts store or is it special? What size is it? Looks like 2" or so but I dont have my books yet so I dont know.
I know the old adage about opinions and #$%holes :lol: , but I'm curious to hear what people think.
