Thanks for your reply Tractor Vet. This tractor has the 310 German Diesel. I really think this is a lifter tick. Sometimes its louder than others, but never anything like a knock, just a psst psst kinda tick. My concern is, is this effecting the engine performance at all? Is this valve opening all the way? If I decide to open it up and replace the lifter, how big of job am I looking at?
