Pretty straight forward on taking it apart to get to the bearings. The thrust bearing(small one operating off the weights) is a special bearing though and not just any ball bearing will do a good job of governing as it is a thrust bearing. As far as pins, they just drive out, but just replacing them won't do much as the weights wear just as much. May even get worse. I drill them and use roll pins but it takes a little doing as the holes wear oblong and then the weight has to be free on the pin and pin has to be tight in carrier.
