Well it sounds like the shaft for the high range broke. Hard to tell from here though. If you can pull the shaft out from the trans case much, like more than normal end play it will tell you if it is broke. Like I stated in the other reply you will have to pull the top off. There is an o-ring groove for a seal on the shaft that is where they usually break. that shaft/lever is not cheap from dealer. That is why we went to welding them. We don't even have the o-ring in there anymore. It fits tight and is above the oil level. There is a nut on the other end with a spline for the fork arm to slip onto. Then tighten the nut up. We used to use lock tight on the threads. If you want to talk my number is in the other reply.
