Hi Doug,You should be able to unscrew the soleniod and screw in a 3/8NF bolt & nut and set buy running engine at maxmium rpm and adjusting the bolt for non missing condition, then lock the nut. When I bought my 340U it had this set-up and ran just fine. I did however buy the proper needle valve as it looks like someone knew what they were doing instead of the mickey mouse look of the bolt. The exisiting main jet is correct for the solenoid or the needle valve. T_Bone
