well I took a little thing like a screw out and pulled the spring, I looked in the hole and it looks sorta like theres a pin in there. I looked in the I T service manual again but I couldn't find anything. In the Picture it shows what i think is what i'm seein on the real tractor is called "Drive shaft pinion". And it says disassembly is apparent after studying the illustration. but i don't see how to do it. Sorry this message didn't help much. Thanks for the help. Tim
