I take a lot of pride in having my old tractors in good mechanical shape so when I have to do more than fill the gas tank I'm ticked off. Went to move the H tonight and wouldn't start. It started fine last week.Suspected electrical. Filed points as they hadn't been done in a long time, still no start. Finally pulled a plug and verified no spark. Went back with a test meter - had 12 volts across switch but no voltage to the distributor.Problem lies in between somewhere. Tractor is a good hike back to garage each time I need a tool so decided to leave it until morning. I'll tow it up to the garage and pull of the hood. Hopefully all it is a bad end on a wire.Good thing I've got 6 more of the old tractors - all ran earlier today.
