Mine is torn apart for a rear end overhaul. I have the axle housings off. My next step is to take the Rear frame top cover/ rockshaft unit off the tractor. The book says to unbolt and lift. What about the draft control linkage? Is there something else to disconnect there?
I guess what I should really be asking, is there anything I need to know about the cover removal or the process of rebuilding the rear end? I've got the IH service manuals, but a little bit of personal experience always gives a better perspective. Tractor Vet? Owen? Somebody who's done it before? Thanks! -Andy
