I have a 49 farmall H . I have had the transmission out and ring gear and pinion to replace some of the bearing and such when i restored the tractor few years ago. The thing I was wanting to know is the transmission has always had a whine when going forward in a pull but no whine when going down hill or not in a pull. put 80w 90 gear oil in it . Any thoughts to the cure the whine. Hear alot of H's mine sounds the loudest. Thanks Scott
