ok=step by step...timming your c tractor...behind the oil pan is a half moon plate,take it off.now look at the plate.on that plate there is a mark,its pressed or stamped out on that plate.now with the half moon plate off the tractor,look at the flywheel,there is a mark stamped in on the flywheel, you need to line up both of those marks-flywheel and half moon cover mark to time your tractor..the mark is on the flywheel,you need to look for it,,could be rusty and may need to spray some wd40 to find it.
