have it sandblasted ,i just sandblasted my friends 330 jd in about 1.5 hrs and he painted it it looks excellent .we both have automotive body shop experence,so i dont paint his tractors .if you are going to show the tractor it needs to be professional painted as it takes several years, and lots of mistakes to really lay the paint on slick.try the local body shop and see if the painter will spray the tractor on his off time he might come to your place and spray your tractor for some extra money.if you are going to spray it yourself wait until summer or spray it in a heated shop. alot EASIER to spray in hot weather if you are learning..
