You should pull off one plug wire at a time while a helper makes an attempt to start the engine to see if you have hot fire to your plug. If the fire looks weak your coil may be weak. Check your distributor cap for a crack. Do a compression check to see what your readings are and check the valve lash to see if they have enough clearance. Make sure the helper has the brakes locked and the transmission is out of gear. New points and a condenser may be in order. Hal PS: APG is taking a cut in personnel somewhere around 5000.
